No, but watching the game will remind me not only of the feeling I had when we lost, but also of the clusterfrick of a disaster that happened afterwards. If we would have won, none of that would have happened. I only went to the tables because I was pissed, which led to increasingly bad decisions...

KO return

fake punt

terrible last-drive defense (whole drive, not redzone)

in decreasing order of why-we-lost, imo

Parkey was hurt or something... or the nerves got to him.

I agree on the reverse fake punt... even if the starting defense was out there in their base lineup, there's a good chance it would've picked up the couple yards FSU needed to make a first.

bottom line... i'm over it. FSU was the better football team and won. We overacheived all year to get to that point and won't let the last 20 seconds ruin a great season.

Our KO coverage was terrible all game. I guess you could credit some of that to FSU having stud athletes. A couple bama buddies watching the game with me said early in the game after a few KO's "If AU isn't careful FSU is going to take on of those to the house"

FSU's dline had our number especially in the second half. Mason did a heck of a job as any great back would, but that dline was the best we played all season and I think it kinda "shocked" our Oline

Db's missed some key tackles in the second half. Winston was heating up and we gave up too many yards after the catch.

I agree with this, and that's why I'm over it. I have no problem saying FSU was the best team in CFB last year. We were still a few steps away on Defense to get the job done. THe FSU, UGA, and TAMU games all come to mind as games our defense kept us from winning easily.

Agree to that as well.

Overachieved according to expectations.. what this past years team did to me is not overachieving. We won as many games as I think we deserved to win.. that's not overachieving. We were talented and well coached enough to win an SEC title and it happened.

Chizik didn't allow us to see that clearly.

Agreed, saying that team overachieved is cheapening what they accomplished on the field. They achieved what they were capable of doing period. They had the coaching and talent. They may have exceeded fans expectations by and large, but that doesn't equate to overachieving.

I think he meant we overachieved from what was expected.

I know that is what I meant.

We were there as well. No blame on anybody, but Parkey had a shite game. Missed FG's and not one KO went into the end zone. (which was ODD considering how often he did it during the year.)

The fake punt really turned the game as far as I was concerned. We were up 21-3 at that point late in the 2nd. If FSU goes in at half down that much, I dont see them winning. That helped their momentum a lot.

Was a great game. I agree on the crowds. I thought both schools represented fantastically and as usual, AU was loud, proud and there in volume.

Very much looking forward to seeing what this year holds. Especially with the passing game.
