It's not Ellis. It is those 2* CBs we have been recruiting the past 6 years. They are fricking terrible.

The whole defense is terrible. The d line might be the worst in the SEC, LB'ers are below SEC average, secondary one of the worst. What else is there?

Nothing wrong with man coverage, but you have to have some sort of pass rush and CBs that can manage. We are mainly lacking the former.

And talent wise we are top 5 in the SEC on defense so I do not believe it is all on the players.
