I don't get the CAP hate either. If anything I see him and Grant being a slightly less talented version of Dyer and OMac

IMO, Grant > McCaleb bc he can "thump" when he needs to.

CAP is certainly more mature than Dyer. Dyer threw his talent in the trash. Sad.

I'm satisfied. Not trying to act smart or anything, but the game really went how I thought it would except I thought Marshall would come in mid-second Q.

Thought Arky would keep it close until Marshall got in, then the beatdown would commence.

That is nothing against JJ. He played great and we could win with him.

But, Marshall is our leader. Once he got in, the confidence of the entire team went up and it was like, ok, it's on and arse whupping time now.

Marshall just has a certain swag to him that seems to be contagious to the team.

He's not our best QB, but he's just a winner. Still can't throw, but we look focused when he's out there. The D looks nervous when he's playing.

Totally agree. And it is because he is like few other QBs anywhere. The D is nervous because they know he is a 4.4 burner who can go the distance on any play. And he has the ball in his hands every play no matter what, so it has to make a defense unsure, nervous and hesitant every single play - knowing if they get out of position and we have a run called Marshall can keep it and blow by everyone in a heartbeat.

Not saying he can't make a forward pass, but that acc is what it is. His speed is his greatest skill, and Gus will use it.

Which passes did you not like? He threw one a little high to Ray but he was in a weird position. He hit Coates beautifully in the endzone and Sammie dropped it. I don't remember his other incompletion but it wasn't anything resembling what we saw last year at times.

you know your pretty good when you win by 24 and the "experts" on espn are talking about how big of a step forward it was for the other team
