I thought they had already released a picture of the helmet. Face mask didn't look bad.

They have but that didn't give us much of a glimpse of what it looks like in sunlight

And some airbrush paints

Those don't look all that terrible. I'll reserve judgement until I see them in better lighting but initial thought is not awful but prefer navy.

They look sharp.

I'm old and a traditionalist but subtle things like this are perfect

Muschamp said Byron Cowart and Jeff Holland will play up front in game one.
Cowart has improved in the last week.
Holland is a player who could help in pass rush situations.

From al.com

Auburn defensive coordinator Will Muschamp met with the media following Sunday's practice.

Below is a quick recap.

WILL MUSCHAMP

Won't commit to starting LBs. "That's decision won't be made until later int the week. Guys got to practice well."
On Louisville's young O-line, it's preparing for the "unknowns" but allowing his group to do what it needs to do
On what's reasonable to expect from the defense in the first game: "Let's just do what we need to do to win the game."
Believes all four inside LBs will play
"I think they probably have a good idea who their quarterback is."
On Petrino's offense: Same routes, different ways.
"It's not about the elaborate plays, it's about the execution of the plays that they have."
Byron Cowart is not only a situational pass rusher for this game, "Byron is going to play" on all downs. Could be with the third-down pass rushers
Stephen Roberts and Nick Ruffin get mentioned along with Blake Countess as the backup safeties
Freshmen who will play: Cowart and Holland up front, Javaris Davis, Carlton Davis, Jeremiah Dinson in the secondary, Darrell Williams and Montavious Atkinson on special teams. Mentions Tim Irvin, who has to improve consistency.

Marcus Davis will be our starting punt returner. Jason Smith is the #2 guy there.

nah if Marcus Davis was better in fall camp which apparently he was then the only way he loses that job is if he starts muffing punts like Quindarius Carr

oh god dont remind me about that.

I guess I'm just surprised Davis won it, he just doesnt seem like a return man to me but I'm no coach.

He had 2 punt returns for a total of 31 yards last year, and I remember he looked good doing it. He's about the same size as Quan Bray before Bray bulked up for his senior year.

He doesn't have the best top end speed, but he's quick as hell.

What I don't understand is based off your statement why do you think JS is a return guy? The most important thing is that they don't turn it over. Anything else is a bonus.
