Johnson said Reed "is at home" at cb position. Think he will contribute this year.

It's a shame he wasn't there from the beginning. It was evident he wasn't comfortable in the slot early on.

I know. I love the "tear you down to build you up" type coaching. He probably learned that from the master: Steve Supperior.

Auburn hasn't had a bad punter in a long, long time.

This has been the most sunshine filled Spring ever.

I dunno, I was on ITAT a lot in the Spring of 2003. We're decidedly pessimistic compared to what I remember reading back then.

Lambert, Lawrence, Williams and Thornton. I am confident that Lambert and Williams see the field. Do you guys think the other two play this year? Thornton has to qualify but he was putting on weight. Devaroe could be the sleeper IMO.

About a month ago Thornton was up to 230 pounds. Auburn wants him at 250 by fall camp. If he gets there, he has the talent to contribute.

JT may have the highest ceiling with his overall length as well. I forgot Kennion but he will def RS IYAM. Lambert may be the most ready. But Devaroe really intrigues me. Damn boys...

What's the word on him qualifying? I remember there being some questions back when he first committed.

IIRC, Thornton was thought to be okay. E and another have said Pettway was too close to call.

Did something happen to Carl Lawson at practice? Somebody on ITAT said he was on crutches today. Really hope this is just a poster being a dumbass and Lawson is alright.

Good apparently. He tweeted that he was going to qualify and got a great call from the NCAA clearing house about a month ago.

Carl Lawson has a bruised left knee. The knee is structurally intact and there is no sign of a tear. Lawson will be in a brace and on crutches the next few weeks and the doctors will reasses then.
This makes me feel better.

This is okay, he just needs to wait until August. Let it heal. Damn, I would rather it now than later. I want the opposing party shot at sunrise!

This is why we need numbers, but also why it's good to rotate.
