I actually look for Sr's to start against Arky. That would mean Owens on the right side IMO, Gabe on the left. Blackson and Whit in the middle. They will rotate so much it isn't important who starts as much. Then again, maybe I'm wrong.

I feel like we may send out Wright and Adams at DE to start off the game since I assume Arky will try to establish the run early. Wright, Whitaker, Blackson and Adams along the line early in the game, then it's full on rotation and subbing for specific packages/downs.

Yeah, anyone who says Therezie isn't one of our best defensive players is out of their mind. What is the deal on him? Failed drug test or what? Any idea on his return? He will be back sometime, right?

Need him on the field ASAP.

Nobody is really sure. The rumor is a failed ncaa drug test (dilute sample). We are appealing by providing our testing to show now pattern of such results.

That story makes everything seem to fit, so I believe that is what is going on.

Couple of interesting things to me.

Kenny Flowers & Brandon King must suck. Getting beat out by TF.

Not sure what to think of Mitchell, President, Alexander, Toney, & Melton.

Ford must be really impressive at S to jump some of these other players. Hope I'm not disappointed in his play.

Hutchinson needs to get processed.

Flowers and King were never more than backups, imo. I think that's pretty obvious now.

Mitchell needs to gain weight. Ellis likes the LB's to be a little bigger than what we used to use under Tuberville, and Mitchell is about 215. He's also had some nagging injuries, which haven't helped, but of those 5, I think he's got the most potential. I thought Alexander would be 3rd team behind Garrett and Therezie(if he makes it back), but I guess not. I thought Melton might be able to make an impact, but Toney is a backup. A solid backup, but I don't think he'll ever be a starter.

Flowers looked good in the A-Day game. I don't get it.

He has been. Helped that Moncrief missed some time due to an illness. If that didn't happen, I think he would have been the starter. Moncrief will play a lot

Mitchell

He's been battling recovering from an injury all offseason, so I'm not surprised he isn't in the 2 deep.

He was such a freak in Junior College. The guy could literally play safety, STAR and maybe even linebacker for us. I'm guessing he just doesn't have it between his ears.

The two letdowns for me is having Jeff Whitaker starts at defensive tackle and Quan Bray at punt return.

Garner has said that he has really liked Whitaker's play this summer, so I will hold my reservations on that.

I hope he is right...

So far in his career, he has looked like a big, fat, slow, tub of lard out there.
