Jacobs wants to schedule Notre Dame, Michigan, or FSU. The article didn't say whether it would be a home & home

Won't be for awhile though as both teams schedules are tied up.

Says this, yet he has scheduled Clemson 4 times over the last 8 years.

Plus he is too scared to schedule more than 1 P5 team per year.

I wish we had made Washington home and home.

Their stadium site is incredible.

We play in the SEC West, why try and schedule more than one big time school OOC?

I have no problem playing Clemson each year, problem is that we need to win some of them. We battle them for a lot of the same players each year and they are a top tier team. I know people get tired of the same teams each year but I loved going to Clemson a few years ago and had a great time.

I would like to see us schedule Georgia Tech in a home and home every ten years or so to keep the old rivalry kindled.

I have no problem playing Notre Dame but they are less and less relevant each year, Michigan would be a bigger fish to catch with Harbaugh there.

No shite, why would we play more than 1 each year? We play in the SEC with a permanent cross division as a top 25 team every year. We have a top 10 schedule every year without adding any power five teams, why make it even tougher?

"It was interesting to see the list of teams we’ve never played (from the SEC, which include Mississippi State, Auburn and Kentucky). I frankly didn’t know it," Swarbrick told the Star. "I have a great relationship with the Auburn athletic director (Jay Jacobs), and I’d love to figure out how to do that. There’s something to be said for ticking off everyone on that list until you can say you’ve done it over the history of this program."

Well Clemson is playing us and South Carolina. Gay is playing Florida and the Gumps. USC plays a great pic schedule every year.

The cowardice seems to be limited to SEC ADs.

Sorry for wanting my team to play a real game instead of Furman or Mercer.

They also play a pretty weak conference schedule.

I never read this as it was a set thing.. Just that Notre Dame was interested in playing Alabama and Auburn at some point

Neither did I.

I was saying the article didn't say whether we were trying to do a home and home or neutral site. Notre Dame has a history of refusing to play in Auburn so it would be more significant if they showed interest in a home & home.

I have a hard time believing they'd do a home and home with us instead of neutral site in Atlanta

Notre Dame wants to expand their recruiting footprint. Atlanta would make more sense for them
