Greg Robinson lights up combine, while Cyrus Kouandjio fizzles
Winners
Greg Robinson, OT, Auburn: It's hard to find 332-pound offensive linemen with light feet and swivel hips, which is why the combine has been buzzing since Robinson stepped on the turf Saturday. Robinson put on a spectacular show during the workout, showcasing his outstanding athleticism and movement skills in front of scouts. Robinson clocked an official time of 4.92 seconds in the 40-yard dash, while also positing a 9-4 broad jump. He complemented his impressive showing in speed and agility tests with a strong performance in positional drills. Robinson moved like a dancing bear on the turf, alleviating any concerns about his ability to take on elite pass rushers off the edge. Overall, the stellar workout in front of hundreds of scouts and coaches will not only send Robinson's draft stock soaring, it could make him enter discussion as the draft's top overall prospect.
Jake Matthews
Taylor Lewan
Losers
CyKo
Tiny Richardson
Austin Seferian-Jenkins
Day 2 Spotlight on
Blake Bortles
A.J. McCarron

Tiny Richardson's base was really "tiny" (no pun intended).
He doesn't have the mega butt that anchors a quality OL.

Tre with a disappointing 4.50 second attempt.

Seriously? Davis is a known commodity who already had a week of practice at the Senior Bowl. He'll do the same shite he was going to do today at Pro Day which will be attended by everyone and their grandmother because of Robinson/Ford/Mason.

Everybody that's seen him play, ie those teams that will draft a running back, knows Tre is not a home run threat.

Mike Mayock does love to protect his chosen White Knights... lol.
Ladanian Tomlinson (you know, an *actual* record-breaking NFL running back) makes it clear that he loves him some Tre Mason and all Mayock does is nit-pick him because Mayock has chosen Bishop Sankey as his "boy".

4.4 is very solid for a RB. Tre has the perfect build for durability as well. Bit shorter and built like a tank. Add in his lateral quickness and the fact he only played 3 years in college and only 2 as a starter with no real injuries and he is pretty much a can't miss for a workhorse productive back in the NFL.
Second round.
Second round.

I have been flipping back and forth today. What I have noticed, when I have been watching, Mayock hammers Tre every chance he gets. WTF??

Mayock has Tre like fourth or fifth on his board... he's looking to justify it, I'm sure.
Tre's not going to blow you away with measureables like some other guys, but he appears to be holding his own. We already know he's not the biggest, not the fastest, doesn't have great breakaway speed, etc... but we all know he's a fricking amazing running back... and that's all that matters in the end.

Looks like Dee Ford didn't do the bench press......

That's why it was disappointing. He ran a 4.44 with a 1.57 split. Te second run should have been a low 4.4

Ridiculous to have a 1.5 split and not finish at least sub 4.5. That 1.5 split though got to be making teams salivate though. That is pretty damn elite
For perspective, Knile Davis who ran a 4.37 I think had a 1.49s 10yd split
