FWIW.. If he hasn't signed a contract then I guess things could potentially change between now and then.

@ZachAbolverdi: Sources close to Travaris Robinson say he has not made a job decision & has several factors to consider in the coming weeks. #Gators #Auburn

Just want to pop in and say this thread has been more entertaining than a Les Miles press conference. War damn I've enjoyed it.

Karibi Dede just resigned from his head-coaching position in Virginia. I'd assume that it would be too early for him to get hired as a LB coach without any major collegiate coaching experience, but he did play under Muschamp and the timing is interesting to state the least...

Has he given any reason as to why he resigned?

Woodbridge activities director George Washington said he was not surprised by DeDe's announcement.

"He and I have talked all year," Washington said. "He's enjoyed it here, but he wants to keep on going with his plan. It's a little sooner than he thought he would be leaving."

Washington said DeDe wants to get back into college, possibly as a coach or as an athletic administrator. DeDe has a doctorate in higher education.

"He's got three or four things he's looking into," Washington said.

He apparently told administration December 5th that he was stepping down so it doesn't look like its "Muschamp related", still interesting to contemplate though.

I'd love to have him back in an administrative role if we couldn't get him as an on-field assistant. Hope he ends up somewhere that he can continue to grow and have an impact on young athletes.

He was a hell of a LB, especially that 2006 season (muschamps first year here)... he was undersized for a MLB, but really stepped up as a senior. So did herring when he moved to LB in 06.

I'm sure this article has already been, but if Auburns D takes on Muschamps personality..... All i got to say is Holy frick for the rest of the SEC!

A little news on Travaris Robinson...

Per a Florida booster, it seems he will be coming to Auburn, the only question is, "when?". Travaris Robinson went to the Florida Athletic Director and asked for a 3 year deal with a raise to at least $500k per year (really wanted a deal of 3 years with $650k per year), and Jim McElwain and Jeremy Foley shot it down.

After the meeting Travaris Robinson told Jeremy Foley and Jim McElwain that he was loyal to Will Muschamp, and he would be in favor of going "home" (Auburn) for less money.

Randy Shannon is also very much in play for Auburn AND Florida, as both are going after him. Who will get him? Who knows?

Honestly is Randy Shannon that great of a recruiter and LB coach?
He rose up the ranks at Miami which basically gave him elite talent every year without trying.

I don't have an informed opinion about him but woud like to learn more about his recruiting, player development and such

Most of his connections come from Florida, specifically South Florida.

Athletes galore.
