Why does that matter?

I thought it had more to do with Brandon Cox having a brain fart.

Actually IIRC Kodi Burns lead the drive all the way to inside the 10 (5?) and they took him out and put in Cox.

Wrong, Cox got yanked early in the game. After 2 and a half quarters of Kodi Burns, Cox was reinserted into the game where he led the team down inside the 10 on the final drive.. Kodi Burns couldn't lead a game winning drive if his life and the lives of his immediately family depended on it.

I'm pretty sure Kodi led the team inside the 10 and then Cox got brought back into the game

ETA: Nevermind, you're right

Who coaches the Spur position? Johnson or Cheese/Smith?

I would bet that Johnson will coach at least the first year since he is really the only defensive coach that really knows the ins and outs of the position.

Have Smith/Harbison both coached under Ellis before?

At State, Harbison coached Safties and Smith coached CBs.

Yeah, I was referring to players.

I understand the spur position to be more of a DB than a LB. More of a safety than a CB. So that logic tells that the spur goes to Harbison. But who knows

I almost wonder if Ellis will coach that position.

Does anyone know if Smith was the lead recruiter for anyone committed to The Grind? Fingers crossed its Chris Jones and Smith is the sole reason he committed to MState.
