This is their future and if they give minimal effort because of some petty bullshite then the coaches get paid way too much money get them the frick out.

Honestly, I didn't see minimal effort until the 3rd quarter or so. I didn't say they should get a pass for lolly gagging, but just pointing out they can only do so much physically and at some point mentally if the O doesn't provide help

Tre Williams should be starting at MLB. Holland could play some OLB.

This defense is getting physically abused. We couldn't even "out-athlete" Jacksonville State. We have serious issues on defense that don't have a thing to do with how bad the offense is playing.

Jeremy Johnson is single handedly killing the morale of this team here is why

1. Cant break big runs cause no vertical passing threat 8-9 guys on D crashing line of scrimmage

2. Turnovers are killing any momentum on offense and defense.

3. His inability to execute adds pressure to everyone else on the field they know if they screw up he can't make a play and bail them out

4. Gus is unable to make good play calls cause Jeremy can't execute

That sums up the O

On D we don't have many good players our line is ok but our LBs suck they are the equivalent of JJ on offense the over run most running plays and don't keep their gap integrity you can't play winning football with a shite QB and shite LB play its just not possible

Jeremy Johnson is not "single-handedly" doing anything. Does he suck? Yes, but why are his fundamentals terrible after going on three years in the system? Why do we not have a backup that can complete a forward pass since Johnson isn't? It's just lazy to completely blame one guy when he's playing bad. It's a coaching issue as much as a JJ issue.

It's all back to the coaches..... Always will go back to them. it's their responsibility to find, develop and evaluate. If we don't have a qb, lb, or any other position it's their fault.

It's Gus' fault.

However all of this up and down is just typical AU.

I do think JJ has killed the team. He looks like it doesn't mattrer, he's good, just a rough spot. He's awful. There have been a lot of bad QBs at Auburn but few have had the weapons he has and so completely thrown it away.

We are very thin everywhere on defense. Can you name Ford's backup?
