Do you think that Gus lets Lashlee have any control whatsoever over the offense?
Lashlee damn sure doesn't bring anything to the table. And the QBs have looked like shite, which is his position

If he did fire Lashlee, do you think for one second that he would bring someone in to repair the QB development and play calling issues that he is becoming known for?
Unless he is a dumbass. In which case, Gus needs to be gone anyway.

Is that because he is on an island this year? Last year he did solid nothing special.

How many wins does Gus need to keep his job?

He won't be fired this year no matter what IMO. We're hiring a new President so whoever replaces Gogue will get to make this call.

I'm getting tired of this fricking question.
How many wins does Tubs need to keep his job? How many wins does Chizik need to keep his job? How many wins does Malzahn need to keep his job? With the exception of 2010 and 2013, I'm starting to feel the pain that the bammers carried from 2000-2008.

That's what happens when your program is a dumpster fire.

I think 5 wins is the cutoff, if we have a year like 2012, the bitching from alumni and fans could prove too powerful to ignore.

It's not "how many wins to keep his job" as much as "how many losses gets him shitcanned"
May seem the same, but there is a nuance. We aren't looking for a reason to keep him. We're hoping he doesn't give us a reason to fire him.

If we lose 5 games this year, you do realize that 5 out of the last 6 years we would have at least 5 losses, and only 1 year out of 6 with a winning conference record .

the losses won't stop at 5, i hate to tell you

Bro, did you not watch our guard play? Kozan is not very good. It is painful to watch him waddle his way around the line while pulling.
Smith is an average SEC guard.

Smith has legit 2nd day draft NFL talent. The rest of our oline isn't great SEC level talent. In over 40 years of watching Auburn, 3 games in, it is likely the poorest execution from oline I have ever witnessed. That might be Gus' fault for recruiting or developing, but it is a huge reason the play calling looks herp derp. Those same plays worked when he had NFL talent and all SEC talent on his line.

He could be a late 3rd round pick. And have a decent NFL career.
But that play Saturday where he was pulled to block Garrett is a routine NFL play. I've seen Peyton Manning's Colts do it countless times. It does not bode well that he cannot do that well. He looked just like Chad Slade vs. KeKe Mingo in 2011.

LOL WHAT?
You think its routine to expect a pulling guard WITH NO HELP to block an elite speed rusher on a PLAY ACTION PASS? That doesn't happen. That is a run blocking play; if you're doing it in pass protection you better have your Tackle at least chipping the end (we didn't). Usain Bolt wouldn't have gotten there in time to block Garrett.

Yes. It happens a lot in the NFL. It is a run action play designed to mess up the keys of the lbers. Look it up if you do not believe me.

I sided with you on some of the OL issues, but I will disagree on our guards. Especially Smith. You may want to pay a little more attention before making those claims. Kozan can improve but It has to be tough to play between special ed athletes.
