Still can't believe he's not around. Can't imagine what it's like for his actual family.

My Alma Mater

I was in those stands for his memorial service. They asked everyone to wear orange and blue for him. Pretty awesome that UGA fans even found some orange and blue to wear. The new field wsa paid for by the Lutzie foundation.

I went to the Lutzenkirchen memorial at Lassiter when they had it. Lassiter isnt our school but its one over. The Lutzenkirchens also go to our church. So, it was a tough thing. I still have the memorial card from the service tacked up next to my 2010 National Championship framed poster.

Glad to see that Cobb County finally relented and didnt frick this up.

Actually North Cobb. We go to Transfiguration Catholic Church, which is where the Lutzenkirchens attended. Phillips funeral was there.

They had their 5k last weekend for that foundation too. I'm sorry I had to miss it.

I went to Transfiguration once.

When I noticed there were no pads for kneeling, I never went back.

(P.S. Knew a family that went to Transfiguration though that went to my son's high school, Sequoyah. The Grooms.)

Transfig is a great church. Was greater when Monsignor Pat was there. but your mileage may vary as they say!
