I consider a blow out where you get much less points in the second half than first.

So we didnt blow out La Tech bec we scored 21 points in the 4th?

No we beat them soundly but I would not consider it a blowout.

Semper, we live in a world that has competition, and that competition has to be beaten by men with positive attitudes. Who's gonna do it? You Semper? You, AUTigR24? Posibarners have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom.

You weep for the Tubs defenses and you curse the the dropped passes. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know, that Whitehead being suspended, while tragic, probably made us stronger in the DB's.

And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, lifts other spirits! You don't want the truth, because deep down in places you don't talk about at tailgate parties, you want us on this board. You need us on this board. We use words like "honor", "code", "loyalty", "15-0 Ship". We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punchline.

I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very sunshine pumping that we provide, and then questions the manner in which we provide them! I would rather you just said "thank you", and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you pick up a pom pom, and Yell War Damn Eagle. Either way, I don't give a damn what you think about a Posibarners prediction!

greatest posibarner rant of all time, well done sir!

They keep it a game until the fourth, but this is the year we break the curse.

We were tied with Arkansas at the half
First game of the year against a SEC opponent and we were up by 14 points with 17.5 minutes left in the game.

and led at half by 2 scores against our last 2 opponents.
24-3 = 21 points. Led by 3 scores at half against La Tech.

And leading 38-10 @ halftime against SJSU doesn't count as a blowout either?

I see a lot of negativity towards the team that is easily turned if ppl knew what they were talking about.

One poster saying we have not faced a Top 40 pass defense when we have faced 3.

Another poster saying we only had 2 score leads at the half when we had 21 and 28 point leads.

Clearly. Ppl are actually saying we are no very good? How fricking high of a ceiling do we have here?

It blows my mind that some wait all year for football season to stat just so they can complain about it for 3 months.

Does the fact a freshman qb (Harris) starting his first road game at night in JHS change anyone's prediction?

I know the kid is good, but other than Death Valley I don't think he could go into a more intimidating environment. Add the fact that AU recruited him so Gus knows what the kid can do.

I legitimately don't have any prediction for this game. I would be completely unsurprised by a lot of different scores and scenarios.

I think the kid plays well and hits some big throws, but will make some costly mistakes that will let us pull away. I think Ellis brings a good amount of pressure. I think we will be able to run on them pretty effectively.

35-24 good guys.

I feel better about our run game looking at LSU d line stats. Hopefully we'll be clicking on all cylinders tomorrow.

LSU is 14th in the SEC & 108th in the country in avg yards per rush against FBS teams (5.3 ypc). Yes, that includes NMSU & La Monroe.

Against Power 5 teams, they fall even further to 111th in the country @ 6.48 yards per carry.

For reference, Auburn ranks 9th in the country against FBS (2.65 ypc) & 23rd against Power 5 teams (3.27 ypc) in yards per carry.

ETA: KSU is one spot above us against FBS & 15th against Power 5.

Now predict dropped or slightly missed passes from NM to open Coates.

I say 3.
