I will never forget that 2008 Vandy game.

To answer the question: My vote goes to Loeffler as the worst.

watching Scott work his magic on ESPN right now for the hokes got me thinking..worst OC disaster in AU history?

Franklin never had a shot to succeed. None of the offensive assistants were on the same page. He was set up for failure from the get go. Loeffler sucks...not sure if he is the suckiest...I would have to think more on it.

LohLfler is the obvious one, but 2008 hurt me more.

I figured we were screwed in 2012. I didn't see 2008 coming...

Never understood bringing a guy in and not letting him run what he's good at. 08 was a very weird year as we had lots of talent but just played so poorly.

That poor defense. To start the season that looked awesome and then after carrying the load all season long just fell apart at end of the year. Still pissed about that season more so than 2012 which is weird

I still have brain damage from 2012. The way we got just destroyed by several teams including A&M, Georgia, LSU and Bama was just fricking unacceptable.

I can deal with losses. I cannot deal with QUIT.

But seriously, the 2012 offense was one of the most embarassing things I've seen. A saying about a trio of mentally challenged people and parts of a door comes to mind. Square peg and a round hole fits (or doesn't) too. I've never understood a coach forcing his system on players who don't fit it.

Depends on what you mean by disaster. Tony Franklin's offenses have been crazy good, literally everywhere but auburn.

There was a couple of good reasons for that.

The primary reason was the effort by Tuberville's BBQ boys to work directly against what Franklin wanted for the offense.

The second and less important reason is that Tony Franklin is definitely a flake. But, as others have pointed out, he's a flake whose offense has worked pretty much everywhere.

But at Auburn. See primary reason above.

And Tre Mason still rushed for 1000 yards.

Maybe the single greatest athletic achievement in Auburn football history.

Yeah I dont mind seeing Vandy go back to usual Vandy standards. We never get to play them at home when theyre down & we're kicking arse.

2012...Loeffler, most badliest, awfultility I ever experienced. Watching Kiehl drop back and just falling down as Defensive Linemen tore through the OL... Each week telling myself I wouldn't force myself to suffer through the next week, but I would go anyway...only to experience the same thing again.

Nall was the worst, that team was so stacked and couldn't score.

Loeffler was the second worst, nobody could have done much with what we had at QB in 2012.

Franklin was the third worst but I disliked him most.
