Kirby Smart, are you kidding me?

Remember when Kevin Steele was the hot name at Alabama and was the next big thing? He went to Clemson and his defenses sucked every year and he got fired last year!
Alabama is GREAT because of Saban and Saban ONLY! A friggin' 36 year old defensive coordinator that Saban promoted after Steele left is not the reason why. The only reason Saban wants to keep Smart around so bad is because he knows the play calls and as Saban said "speaks the same language as me."
Smart has no idea how to be the head man of a program, hire staff, or anything that pertains to being a head coach. If people think he will bring the "process" to Auburn then you are kidding yourselves. If we hire Smart then we are truly the idiotic little brother.

But muschamp didn't coach at bama. I agree though, I'd be fine with that. Don't think smart is as good as muschamp. I'd rather have Gus back

And if we do hire smart, are we going to let him coach our biggest rival in the national championship game and help them win it which puts us further behind in trying to recruit against Alabama?

Muschamp had stops between Saban and HC. Smart, other than 1 year of RBs at UGA, has not coached anywhere without Saban. This is the issue I have with him. Let him go be the DC somewhere else for 2-3 years and I would be more likley to accept it. Somebody tell me.......what is Kevin Steele doing these days?
