Who schedules their wedding on the weekend college football starts?

SEC fans don't. We scheduled ours around the football season.

I had a friend who went to AU and he had his during the 2010 AU/KY game. Me and another groomsmen got his parents flat screen and set it up at the reception hall next to the band. Alabama had lost earlier in the day to SC and the bammers at the wedding didn't like how I was carrying on. One of them was becoming irate and his fat wife came up to me and asked me if I wouldn't mind keeping it down because it was upsetting her husband. My response: "Of course I CAM"

Sorry for the thread highjack.

I prefer night games especially in the early part of the season. This news pleases me.

Gotta hurry up and see if I can get Dish or DirectTV cause Cox cable charges extra for those channels.

All 3 confirmed to be on TV too
All Games for SEC teams are and have been on tv since the original SEC/ESPN contract in 2008 except for the 1 PPV game each season.

Yeah, I don't fricking get it. This is something people in the South bitch and moan about all the time, and yet, people continue to do it, even folks who are big time fans.

DAMMIT!

I was counting on the Arkansas State game to be early. I'm in a fricking wedding that night, and now I'm going to miss most of it.

Seriously. Who gets married during football season?

She's a Bama fan, and they have a bye week that day. She assumed the Arkansas State game would be an early game.

Now I'm pissed. If I wasn't in the wedding, I'd do what I did for the AU-FL game in 10' or 11 (don't remember which year it was now that I'm thinking about it, )'. Stream it through my phone, and run the earbud wires up the back of my dress and have my hair covering my ears. If she wasn't requiring my hair to be up for this wedding, I'd probably do it anyways. Get a garter to hold my phone on my thigh and just roll with it.

and apparently there isn't going to be a TV at the reception either. I am beyond irritated at the moment.

I told her to ask the venue if we could bring a TV in. And now I'm negotiating with Kaptin about borrowing his portable dish.
