I heard on CBS Sports that Kevin Steele is going to retire from coaching. I guess that means that the mullet nation is also looking for a new DC.

Saban got turned down by multiple DCs last year before having to revert to Steele. Might be interesting.

That may have been the plan all year. Steele needed a year to get Alabama retirement. One more year of seasoning for TRob and move him up.

Would be pretty surprised. He and Saban seem very far apart when it comes to defensive philosophy. Most people are running 4-2-5 as their base now so maybe it’s not that bad, but I am just not sure how that would go.

Does Chizik still live in Auburn?
