Johnson, who starred in both football and basketball in high school, told the Montgomery Advertiser that he's signed with a basketball agent and is hoping to sign with an overseas team at some point soon.

"It was my first love," Johnson told the Montgomery Advertiser. "And it was another opportunity for me to be able to provide for my family that I have. I have a little girl now. I really feel like I have a good chance at going overseas and playing and making a living there. I'm happy for this opportunity, and I can't wait to see what's in store for me."

Johnson averaged 18 points per game as a senior at Carver in 2012-13 and considered playing both football and basketball in college before focusing on just football.

The 6-foot-5 Johnson told the Montgomery Advertiser that he's dropped about 15 pounds since the end of last season at Auburn. He's down to about 230 pounds.

There's two recent Instagram videos in the article that aren't very impressive, as well as a YouTube video of highlights from a single HS game of his that also aren't very impressive.

NBA is clearly an unrealistic goal for him, but I believe he was a 4* basketball recruit and put up good numbers in HS so he apparently does have some game. I hope he's able to make some money overseas for his little girl, so good luck to him
