see best case we hire a guy like Jans or Howland for instance. A decent mid major coach or a re-tread that can get you to the tourney somewhat regularly but isn’t really competing for trophies every year like we are with Pearl.

It’s stupid to even think about, why people bring jboy opinions on here I’ll never know.

Just a reminder that literally this season we won 27 games, an SEC tourney title, and were a game away from a regular season title. We spent most of the season ranked and much of the season in the top 15.

I believe this was the exact thing the pundit was pointing out. We tend to do well with Pearl until the lights come on then we shite the bed. Same for the year with Jabari and Walker. Nobody is questioning the ability to stack regular season Ws and stay relevant. Based on this thread that seams to be all that matters to the majority.

Were the lights not on in Nashville?

It’s hard to win tournament games. It’s no different for Auburn and Bruce than it is for any other team.

They must not have been on when we went to the Final Four either.

He’s clearly doing it for attention.

Acting like a martyr. “HE WONT TRADE ACCESS FOR TRUTH”

You’re such a hero Jake. Now go sit down. We DGAF.

And there is no point to be made lol. If blue blood Kentucky has not outright fired Calipari for not making a final 4 since 2015 then Auburn fans complaining about Pearl might need to get a dose of reality. People don’t understand how the tournament works.

If you’re suggesting that Pearl should be anywhere near the hot seat anytime in the near future then you’re a complete moron.

But just keep calling people casuals

Auburn Final Fours pre-Pearl: 0
Auburn Final Fours w/ Pearl: 1

Auburn Elite Eights pre-Pearl: 1
Auburn Elite Eights w/ Pearl: 1

Auburn Sweet 16s pre-Pearl: 4
Auburn Sweet 16s w/Pearl: 1

Round of 32 pre Pearl: 7
Round of 32 w/ Pearl: 4

Tournament appearances pre Pearl: 8
Tournament appearances w/ Pearl: 5

Conf Champs pre Pearl: 4
Conf Champs w/ Pearl: 4

Just saw this tweet:

In the last five NCAA tournaments, Virginia, Baylor and Kansas have each won national championships.

Those three schools haven’t made it out of the first weekend of the Dance in any of the four years they didn’t win.

Incredibly hard to consistently advance in this tournament.

Well Yale is getting decimated in what might possibly be one of the worst tournament losses in history. What an absolute embarrassment that we lost to this terrible team.

This is true. It shows how bad we played. And personally I dont accept we lost because our street guy decided to play street ball and get kicked out

We lost because we were tight and played like shite. Didnt take advantages of opportunities and we lost because of it.

Id love to see someone line up Auburn vs Yale on paper without the BM and see how we stack up. We are waaaaaay more talented than them without him

No way we should have lost that game. Plain and simple. Its not on BM even though he is a idiot, its not on the refs even though they didnt help us and its no on that white dude who shot our eyes out and honestly its not on Pearl.

Its on the team. They did not execute

This is true. CBM is not the talent gap between Auburn and Yale.

.

The hyperbole is ridiculous… two teams lost by 30+ in round of 32.

It was the third largest margin of victory… yesterday.

I think people lose their minds and forget we are all disappointed and agree that we should have beaten Yale
