Let's be honest. A lot of this has to do with the preseason hype - around both the team and JJ - versus the reality of the team.

We had to replace a 2-year starter at QB who ran the zone read almost to perfection with a QB who we saw against one SEC opponent and in mop up duty against non-Power 5 teams. Just because he has the physical tools, doesn't mean he was going to be a world beater like everyone expected.

Other problems (and hype) on O including Duke (both running lazy routes and being a cancer) and also Roc and Jovon not living up to expectations thus far.

Replace a Rimmington award winning center with a transfer. Also, an O line that doesn't have the same experience as our 2013 team or even last year's team.

Casual AU fans and AU homers expected Will Muschamp to make an immediate impact. Well, I think he has, just not on the scoreboard. It's going to take time to break the bad habits formed over the last 7 years.

The competition looks even tougher in the SEC than initially expected.
