Probably your best bet then. Is Amsterdam Cafe still there?

It's OK, but my hang up is it's never consistent. Rule #1: if your food isn't top notch, always offer consistent quality and service.

There used to be a couple of the Zaxbys styled chicken finger places. I was sorry to see them go along with the Flush.

Guthrie's was my food of choice when I was Auburn. Founded by Auburn grad and there used to be only 2 in the entire state Auburn and Haleyville where it started. They had one in Huntsville, but it is closed now.

You're the type of person that either doesn't like anything or extremely picky, so not sure you would like anything downtown anyway, capt douche.

The Hound isn't really a place for kids though.

Yes! There was another out by Kroger. I can't remember the name of it, but our phone number was a digit different from theirs. My brother and I took orders for them all the time.

Strange there isn't really an iconic food place near campus other than Momma G's. Is there a brewery or brewpub there yet?

That's it!

There weren't many food options when we were there from 92-96.

Tenda Chick was great. Also the Asian place that went into the old schlotzkys was delicious.

No love for Veggies To Go? What about the chicken place across from tiger town with the million bible verses on every wall?

He decided to an early start on the Auburn tradition of how many days can you eat chick-fil-a in a row?

I was unaware they built a Chicken Salad Chick on campus. But too many untinted windows, that that place is love an oven.
