In an effort to maximize our speed, offer differing options on the run and to throw a curve to opposing D's do you think jflll could be or should be used as a sweep back like Onterio Mc?

Why? When we have better choices who are RBs and WRs?

If the kid truly has the speed claimed he can be a weapon on the outside

Ryan Davis, kam Martin, Stanton tuitt are probably better options for that role.

JFIII has to get some snaps in a "wildcat" package. There is no way we can move consistently with White and our backs/receivers running a traditional offense.

The OP has a point. Thats a lot of speed being left on the sidelines.

He will be used in the Wildcat. Brought in when we are moving the ball, lose yards because because we are announcing we are running JF3, then we have to settle for a FG. It is classic Gus. See 2013 miss st game for evidence.

I agree, why not give him a chance? It's not like Auburn has a bunch of proven players in certain roles. JFIII will likely run the wildcat and I'm sure the staff will try to get the ball in his hands.
Note: I'd rather the staff not allow another player to mess up the flow of the game on offense (switching QBs, etc).

bullshite, Gus better be developing a short to intermediate passing game. bring back all that motion we used to run.

The wildcat only bogs down the O... That philosophy needs to be retired permenantly

that's the biggest gripe I have. Why did we get away from motion and speed like we had?

Go pop in that bowl game from last season, or pretty much any game from last season, and get back to me.

The way Gus has been using it yes.
I think you should still have the package though. It's useful in certain situations

Has a QB ever made the kind of job Sean White would have had to have made in one year to be a QB we can win with? Are you really confident in Malzahn's ability to coach the kid up? QBs, especially ones who rely on their arm, seem to get worse under him rather than better.

Along with the quick huddle/run up to the line jet sweep.

Name one Qb that got worse? JJ? Who in their right mind could have guessed he was a head case on the field? No one saw that coming
