Mash if you dare

Looks like I will not need to apologize.

Laniers

quote:

If JJ is not very agile and mobile, our run offense will not be as effective.
We will see but like I said before, this change makes me nervous. Hopefully,
that is all it is and we do well.

And some of my favorites.

quote:

He was hardly asked to run the ball. I think it was on purpose too. Don't worry so much. You will be back later to tell me how smart I was when I said JJ will surprise many with his running ability. You will be one of those many.

Take a deep breath bruh

quote:

'm not worried about JJ ability to run the football. I think he will be pretty decent running atleast enough to make teams respect his legs and that is what opens other things up. I'm more worried about him taking hits. Cam was cam and nick Marshall even when it looked like he was going to get demolished was good at making it impossible to get a good lick in him. I would hate to lose JJ arm cus he gets banged up running the ball

quote:

I watched JJ his senior year of high school completely embarrass and run all over an Auburn High School defense which has about half of its starters now playing DI football somewhere. That includes a linebacking corps of Reuben Foster and Rashaan Evans.

He can, and I assume will, run the ball. I seent it.

quote:

Why the hell would he not be able to do it now?...
just because he hasn't so far in very limited PT doesn't mean he can't.

quote:

He's got like 11 official runs in his time here, and probably 4-5 of those were protection breakdowns rather than real runs. How is that enough to show anything? Even then he's got like 11 runs for 40 yards, which isn't that far off of Marshall's 5.2 yards a carry from last year.

quote:

Laniers being a negabarner feels like fishhooks in my scalp

One of my personal favorites

quote:

JJ can definitely run the ball. He can throw, with accuracy, rolling out. He can throw the deep ball and he can throw the touch pass. He was the one guy I have been most excited to see. He reminds me a lot of Dameyune Craig. He doesn't have the quickness of Nick......but I believe he will be a better QB than Nick.

quote:

Nick had amazing instincts and vision... He will be missed, but JJ will be fine running the ball.

quote:

JJ has some wheels. He's gonna surprise a lot of people this year.

How do we handle this week. It will be pretty unbearable on the rant. Do we stick our heads in the sand and hope for the best, better known as Arkansas or do we get aggressive and feel good about our chances? Maybe we should do a mixture and leave the bus running with the doors open parked around the corner.

Just in case

Don't break your arm patting yourself on the back.

I stretched 15 mins before posting. It was certainly needed.

We sandbag all week then lose our mind going apeshit and raising hell late Friday.

Then Sat morning, everyone puts up the 1999 pic as their avi like the game is already won.

watching Johnson play, so far, kinda' reminds me of trying to put a square peg into a round hole, but he is far from the only problem area on this team

I seent this shite coming. I just did. I am usually one of the slow ones but not this time. I am super worried about his confidence now. They are going to frick with him in Baton Rouge more than anything he has ever seen.

Even Nick got nervous down there and that dude was a brick.

Has me very worried.

We will defiantly [sic] have a strong run game, that is a Malzahn trademark. But i think it will not be the zone read like recently. We will go back to 2009ish run game with the counter, the power, and we will see the buck sweep again. Tate and Dyer used to kill it on that play.

But so help me 6 lb 3 oz baby Jesus if we see the bubble screen for no gain again, I'm going to melt so hard.

That was mine. Looks on point.

But those bubble screens to Lewis have actually been gaining yards.

Most of them are a little more than bubble screens but you are correct. It has been our most effective play.

The slant was very nice but now that Duke got knocked the frick out, I would not look for that play to be as effective

I don't think I can melt any more than I did in the student section on Saturday. When your girlfriend is the only thing keeping you from leaving a football game, you done melted.
