He is like Aaron Murray....That is all!

He really only made one bad decision. I will go to my grave saying that he should never have been asked to make that decision in that situation. That was just a stupid play call, with a guy making his first college drive, on a third and three.

Then we had another 3rd and 3 after Barber and Johnson had run it down their throats all the way down the field and what does Gus call?
2 passes.

I thought Sean did fine for what he had.

Sean gave me hope. Had he come on and threw up all over himself I would have tossed in the towel. I think we can win with him.

Sean White played exceptionally well in his first ever start against a salty State defense. What I like most about him is his confidence. It's going to rub off on everyone soon.

Will we ever learn what, Randy? Don't tell me you're going to join the teary eyed bitch crowd...

To not hype up every player as the second coming, White was only marginally better than JJ and should have thrown 3 INTs despite being handled with infant gloves. We aren't going anywhere with Gus without an elite athlete at QB.

I like the scrappy white boy. He'll do just fine.

He moved the team. Got the ball in play makers hands.
I was impressed by his running ability. Also stayed in the pocket and was willing to take a hit. Spread the ball around and did not lock onto receivers.
Gives us a chance to turn this around.
Now we should have win the game, mistakes in the red zone. But SW >>>>>>>>>> JJ

Murray had elite armstrength... that's something white will probably never have... That's my main concern... the rest will get better with more playing time.
Gus's offense needs to stretch defenses vertically... not sure if SW can do that yet.

Would be nice if Gus like tried this once or twice a year

JJ has elite arm strength, but the vision of a blind man. Completing 80 yard bombs thru the air in a low percentage play no matter how strong your arm is. Give me a guy who can command the offense, take care of the ball and put us in a position to win.

They are low percentage, but hitting one or two a game for chunk yards opens up so much... and putting together 12 play drives is fricking hard in this league... we saw that last night.

Yeah, but a goddamn redshirt freshman did it and went 20/28. 20/28.

So does having a qb who is capable of spreading the ball around and getting it to the playmakers. He might not have completed any 80 yard passes, but State was forced to respect his passing ability last night. Inability to effectively pass the ball leads to defenses loading the box and daring you to throw, because they don't respect your passing game. It also leads to defenses taking chances at trying to rattle a young qb with blitzes which could result in big plays or scores if we are able to handle it.
