once we don't hire Bobby Petrino. The win at all costs mentality is not acceptable to me as an Auburn fan. CGC is not getting it done, he is a good man but an average coach. If he can't pull out the rest of the season, then he needs to go. I will not sell my soul or my universities soul for a few more wins a season by hiring Petrino. Hopefully those people who want Petrino so bad will stop being fans of Auburn afterwards and we can move on.

<--- 2007 Auburn grad, wants Bobby Petrino. I will always be an Auburn fanatic win or lose! I won't accept getting run out of our stadium game after game! Good on you that you can.

If AU hires Petrino...I will support. It has nothing to do with selling of souls. Proud AU grad as well and DGAF what people would think if we chose to hire him.

There are other coaches that are better choices in my opinion.

Charlie Strong, Jimbo Fisher, hell I'd be half tempted to get Gus Malzahn back.

We named our field after a drunken wife beater...we have no soul. I would like to see what Robert can do at AU

Dramatic much? Sell your soul over hiring a guy that cheated on his wife? Seriously?

Maybe the faction of fans you want gone wish the same for your type. We all have opinions, and some of us think Patrino would be a good coach at AU. That doesn't have a fricking thing to do with being a "bandwagon" fan. As if grown men can't redeem themselves and learn from their mistakes.

Get over yourself drama queen.

1. Not proven
2. Lateral move at best. Not sure why he jumps ship at FSU (besides all the, well his wife and family and uh...)
3. Cannot scout players.

Well there you have it.. You have an opinion.. Congratulations.. Now jump the frick off your soapbox and sound those opinions off in the numerous other threads on the subject, and allow others to voice their opinions.

At the end of the day though you might get your wish if

is still in control of the athletic department at the end of the year.

A few wins more a year?

Gene Chizik has won ONE game this year. Bobby would easily get us to 10 win seasons. I guess you are content with mediocricy.

I hate pussy-arse AU fans like you that feel like AU should pride themselves on taking a moral high-ground and would rather lose as a "good guy" than win as a "meanie".

That attitude is tired and antiquated. Let's go win ball games and leave saving the world to someone else.

I'm a pussy arse au Fan because I'd rather have a head coach with some type of character scruples as opposed to a man who is morally bankrupt?

We don't have to settle for Petrino. We can always get someone who is a home run hire and doesn't spit on the Auburn Creed.

By the way, because I have morals and a standard for something better than Petrino, doesn't make me a pussy arse AU fan. But perhaps your internet bravado makes you feel better about yourself.
