I was born in 1970 and grew up in Auburn in the 70's and 80's. I am now (frick) 45 and have lived outside the States in Japan since '93, for better or worse. I delivered, worked in the kitchen and bartended at Touchdowns from 91-94. Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, etc. was mainstay work music.

BTW / FWIW - My first concert ever was Hoodoo Gurus at the Lamba Chi House next to Wendy's in '88 or '89. I was still in high school. It was awesome - beer, booze, tits, sluts, music, aussies (culture), pot. i went by myself, parked at Wendy's, and made it home by myself about 12:30 without getting arrested (that night). Thereafter, Pearl Jam, REM at Beard Eaves and other venues, Follow For Now at UGA and Little Five Points, Widespread, Dave Matthews at the Supper Club (93?), Dead / Phish in Bham / Atlanta / Japan, INXS and Ziggy Marley in Bham (91?), Steely Dan / Atlanta (94?), blah blah and blah but really, those were some wonderful times. And for the record, I / we did actually see New Kids on the Block w/ Tiffany at Six Flags in '89? shite was pretty much safe then - I don't know about now. shite is safe in Japan, so if you seek a safe space in a really cool part of the word, no matter your color, come on. Common sense still means something over here, no matter the language or color. Think about that a few minutes. Then hit me up, plan a trip, and enjoy. FRICK UAB! Good night!
