Has JJ gone through a progression yet this season?

He seems to throw it to his first option regardless of coverage or defense. Not sure if play calling, nerves or something else is going on.

Gus' O was traditionally a one read offense, think about 2009. Looks like we have regressed to the mean again.

McElroy said he reviewed the Louisville game tape. Out of 21 throws, Johnson hit the secondary WR only twice.

He has done it maybe once or twice. He gets rid of the ball fast though. I can't remember a play where he stood in the pocket waiting for the right opportunity.

I don't remember a QB ever really going through progressions under Gus. This offense looks horrible.

He is not even reading the read option play.

He's telegraphing everything. I'm not seeing him remaining the QB for much longer.

I don't know what some of you guys are talking about. NM sat in the pocket making progressions a lot. So did Cam.

Please don't try to alter past history to fit present circumstances. Yeah, JJs not doing it. Doesn't mean NM and CN didn't.

@JamesCrepea: FWIW, it took Kiehl Frazier 3 games to throw 5 INTs in 2012

Sometimes, but it was a main read O under them also. They just did not stare down WRs. Those long throws to Adams were one read, same with Sammy.

Its really easy to make reads when it is 3 on 3an because eveyone else is in the box.
