Damn. Gus is really consistent. He loses bowl games and loves to blow two score leads.

There was a time I liked the guy. I trusted his reputation as a offensive mastermind. I had hope that there was a method to his recruiting madness. How naive I was! It’s embarrassing.

Oh well, good riddance to bad rubbish. I wish him well, but it’s games like this that make me grateful we shitcanned him when we did.

It is really an interesting study in his coaching mentality.
He has always been good at film study and game planning for scripted series. Once the opponent adjusts, it's like he just locks up and can't come up with anything to counter.
He got away with it before the sub rules took away his advantage of running big fat DL ragged with the sub packages. After that rule change he has exhibited the same pattern over and over.
I guess if you can keep making 6 figures a year doing the same ol' shite over and over, why bother to change...

This is the right way to think about it. Something about being awesome at scripted drives and being terrible at in game adjustments and managing the game flow. Gus' flaws are consistent.

Can this be done from an iPhone? When I long press an image or gif and paste it in the img field, the preview just shows the url. Will it show the image when posted?

I wish we had done it sooner. I was asking for it in 2015.

But certain groups liked to think that he was the best we could possibly get.

I still like him but I'm sure his hard headiness got him there.

Always liked Gus (still do), but I think we confused someone who did something innovative with an innovator. Something about a blind squirrel and a nut.

There is nothing to the myth that the NCAA rule change ended the HU offense. Describe exactly what changed that prevents you from having the same offensive players on the field field without substitutions ....and run your offense.

He needs to realize, he has to change coloring books ...But, if you can draw what Auburn is still paying him and banking it all .......eventually you get fired and go back to being a High School Coach living better than anyone in the School System.....Then go on a Waffle House tour .....
