If you want to kick and scream and blame, go ahead. From my point of view, we played well. We had a drop here and there. We missed and play here and there. It happens, it frigin sucks. Suck up folks. It is what it is. NO ONE GAVE UP - AU fought until the end. Give it a rest, for a day, please?

I agree to an extent... but you're not gonna change these people's minds. They're gonna melt no matter what.
We've lost three conference games by 8 points each... we're closer than some want to believe, all while starting a freshman qb.

Thats where this type of thinking is bad. Gus has no rhythm and will not let his team have rhythm. Its what made him great in 2013 and what makes him look like a total fool right now
It needs to be simple for him and I have said it 100 times. Keep to what he is good at and frick trying to be something he is not

i understand the "fire gus" threads, etc get old and could be contained in one thread or something, but i guess my question is, what do you suggest people talk about? People come here to talk about auburn football and the state of the team. Some people are more negative and some are more positive. I just don't get the "hey! stop talking negative about the team and saying how disappointed you are with the product being put on the field! suck it up!"
this is, quite literally, why message boards exist. if people didn't come here and express their opinion, no matter how silly or melty they may be, what's the point of even having a message board other than general info, stats, etc which could just be put on the official team page?

I think we beat ourselves a lot. Gus can't call in the red zone for anything. His love for jj is mind boggling. It is truly a culmination of things over the last two seasons that have fans livid and to a point rightfully so. No other team I've watched in the sec this year would have started 3 different qbs in three different plays. My honest opinion is there will be a sacrificial lamb and it will be lashlee. I'd be fine with that because all he does is hold the clip board. Hire a OC that keeps Gus from going retard and keeping jj off the field and I think we are much more successful. Maybe he'd know how to play inside the 40 too...

Still have a lot of faith in Gus, as anyone should. But continuing to lose close conference games is going to mess with anyones mind. I refuse to be the new Arkansas.

Being last in the SEC West is not where AU should be. EVER. It should be an insta-firing if it does happen. For frick's sake, why is being last behind Arky, MSU and Ole Piss acceptable to any of you?
The only way Gus could redeem himself (in my eyes) is to win every game left on the schedule. Will that happen? Hell fricking no.

Gus sucks, but we should not fire him this year. He gets one or two more years.
Gus knows he should have gone for 2 against Arkie in the second overtime. So he vows to get more agressive and goes for it on 4th down, up 7. Stupid, changed the game, gave ole miss a short field.

I was at the game.
In general, we competed.
At crucial moments, we did not make good coaching decisions (4th and 2 up 7 at midfield), we also failed to execute in red zone, kicking game is the best element we have right now.
Th QB shuffle was hard to watch.
I was not embarrassed by the loss. This is not 2012
