My confidence level is very similar to 2010 - I knew we would win if we played up to our ability. As it turned out we didn't play that well offensively but still prevailed.
As far as nerves go, I'm not nervous at all. 2010 was something I was beginning to think I'd never see, and now that it's happened it's not like a loss tonight would be as devastating as one would have been three years ago.
This game is all gravy to me. Lose and we've still had a magical season with thrilling last-second victories over our biggest rivals, plus an SEC championship and a top 3 finish, and the pieces in place to do it all again next season. I'd be happier than I've ever been about AU football if we win it all tonight, but even a blowout loss wouldn't dim this season in my eyes.
War Damn Eagle, brethren & sistern!

I keep telling myself this, but it's not helping my anxiety level at all...
the difference in me in 2010 is I felt that if both AU/Oregon played their best games, we'd win... this year, I feel if both teams play their best, FSU will be too much.

In all my Bowl Pick'em's, I put this game at 35th in confidence ranking. I wish there was a way to rank it lower

winning would be a pleasant surprise. FSU is a very good team and I felt like they would have beaten pretty much anyone that played them this year.
at the same time, I think we have the best chance of anyone in the country.. but FSU still has the edge.
enjoy the game guys, its the last one we get for awhile.

I believe we have a good shot if we come out and play our game.
This season is unforgettable and will be talked about forever. Loss tonight won't change that.
I believe we win. It'll be a shoot out. But I just think our d line is going to be an issue for Winston
Time will tell. I'm riding from vegas on a bus. Total of all buses is allegedly 42. It's going too be an auburn invasion.

Very nervous. I really hope they go 3 and out their first possession.

I have mixed feelings. I thought all year I was glad we didn't have to play FSU. They looked so good in the bits I saw. Now after the SEC championship, I think we stand a chance. I can see tons of reasons we should win, but same for them. I am bouncing between knowing we will win one minute to hoping to not be blown out the next.
I think we got this though. Our run game and dline is too good. Our guys seem so focused and prepared.
At least I feel that way right now!

If we get up early I can see fsu folding and not knowing what hit em, they haven't been down in so long they don't know what to do if it happens. Got a good night of sleep. My confidence is rising and rising. At about a 7.6 right now. Hopefully by game time I'm a 9. War eagle y'all!
I have had some weird things happen this morning though, I went to put 40$ in the gas tank and the final gallons were 12.666. I then went to chick fil a and my receipt said chick fil a Macland crossing FSU. Weird.

I drove past a Jameis street yesterday in the Burbank area. I hope it was a sign that Jameis would be flat like the road and we'd drive all over them.

I don't see them "folding," but can see them trying to force things which would favor AU in my opinion.

If AU can keep it even with FSU in the 1st quarter, I like our chances. FSU has put 28 and 35 points on numerous opponents this year in the first quarter.
idk, but championship night I recall we were thinking there's a good chance for IB II because I was certain osu would lose and what if Duke won?
I tuned in to see FSU 7 Duke 0 with 4 left in the second quarter. really?
I kind of remember Miami down 21-14 at the half to FSU and I was shocked after watching that Miami-UNC game.

Wasn't nervous at all for 2010, my biggest concern was making it out to Glendale before the snow trapped us.
This game I'm a little nervous. If we come out swinging FSU is in for a shock.
But I can't get those 3 and out stubborn Gus passing moments, or the way we started at LSU out of my head. If we start flat FSU may very well bury us.
Then I remember how many passes JW floats, and how many sacks his Oline gives up, and all the shite talking they've done and I'm like
So yeah you could say I'm back and forth about this game.

I am not nervous. I was in 2010 because I thought our guys were going against a bunch of O-Mac's. I was even nervous about the Mizz game.
I think we will wear FSU down in the second half, mainly because we have the most physical Lines they have played, them not being used to playing physical teams, and their starters not playing full games all season. While we put up our numbers against better lines and usually play our best in the 4th.
Plus I don't think they are going to stop the running game. They haven't played many good running teams and gave up yards when they did. As long as we keep it within 17 at half, (which I think we will) I think we have a good shot. The key of the game will be how well our DLine does against their OLine which I am confident in.

I was more concerned going into the SECCG game. They said the same stuff before that game almost word for word and I'm shocked none of the 'experts' have mentioned this. Given Auburn's performance in that game I like our chances.

Way more concerned than I was in 2010. Was super confident in 2010.
More concerned than I was in the IB or SECCG as well.
The time for Fsu to prep and having two defensive coaches who have faced Gus before while they were at Bama is going to matter. I think FSUs D will do better than anyone we have faced in a long time and we are going to have to rely on Marshall passing a lit more and our D is going to have to play about the best they have all year.
Also I do not think we can wear down FSU's dline. They are even deeper than we are and will play ten dlinemen in the game.

the fact that we just won it all three years ago (first time in most of our lifetimes) makes this game less nerve racking, imo.
that and there's a great chance we could be even better next season... at least defensively.

Agreed.
I'm listening to the only pregame I'm going to listen to which is Atlanta's AM680 with Auburn's Chuck Oliver. Auburn. Echo chamber? Maybe. But the "FSU wins" has been pretty devoid of analysis too.

I was more worried about Manziel this year than any other game.
Hasn't changed.
