I like the thread that posters fight for 20 pages over 2 weeks and then rehashes the same argument several other times through the year, can I get that here?

Auburn offered 3* QB Cutter Woods from SC.

247 wrote this about him back in November when they reranked the '25 QB class:

quote:

Class of 2025 quarterbacks who are firmly on 'Top247 Watch'

Woods is the lowest-rated member on this list after bumping from an three-star 86 to a high three-star 87 rating in this update, but the 247Sports scouting team has been incredibly impressed by his junior campaign. The 6-foot-2, 190 pound quarterback has totaled 3,086 passing yards and 32 touchdowns on 177-for-248 (71.4 percent) passing, plus an encouraging 1-in-41.3 INT rate considering how often the junior pushes the ball downfield. Woods also boasts a 22-4 record as a starter and has led Westside to their first back-to-back 10-win seasons in nearly a decade with a chance to add more to the win column this weekend as the Rams take on Greenville in the South Carolina 4A state semifinals.

As you can imagine with 32 TDs and 72% completion percentage against 4a SC, his highlight reel makes him look like Peyton Manning

And if you're wondering why you've heard his name before

Maybe we need more than one QB. Thorne will be gone after spring(possibly)or after the season for certain, and Holden might not want to wait and continue to play in a system that doesn't suit his skill set. Who does that leave us with in 2025? Baby goat, WW, and another QB recruit? That seems awfully light to me. We need at least 4 guys right?

Been saying it for months this is probably a 2 QB and 2 RB class.

You watch his 23 highlights and he actually has good size. He also has a Giant OL. I can see why he is accurate, he has so much time to make a throw.

He doesn't look like he has great arm strength, but there was one throw the camera angle was really good, and he threw to where the receiver would break to and it was right there.

I remember watching Manning live with Denver and he was a master at throwing like that. It was pretty cool to watch him work. No, that wasn't me comparing him to Peyton Manning.

SC HS football is still pretty weak overall though. I wonder if he transfers somewhere else so we get a look at him against better competition. Even if he stays in state there are way better teams he could play for.

JLee and crew mentioned Josh Petty the OT for a second time this week, are we anywhere on his radar?
