This team doesn't quit, they have nothing to lose and everything to gain in the Iron Bowl. Gus will throw a lot of trick plays vs. Bama and Gus has no problem scoring against Saban's defense. Auburn was supposed to get blown out in 2009 and they almost won with Chris Todd that had a injured shoulder. 2010 and 2013 everyone said Auburn had no chance against Bama. Suck it up and BEAT BAMA.

The only chance we have is if Sean White is completely healthy and our defense continues to improve. Otherwise, it could get ugly.

If anything, these were the two years since 2007 that we thought we had a shot...we were still underdogs.

Bama's offense has come a long way this season. I'm curious to see how our defense performs against them.

This team has played with a lot of heart since the LSU game, no question. What will make the game ugly is that in Saban you have one of the best game day coaches and play callers in the country. We have one of the worst in Gus. The team will come out with a lot of heart and fight, but our coaches will put them in all the wrong situations.

The key is has the defense toughened up since the LSU game?

It was clear in that game that nobody wanted to bring down Fournette. Henry is another big physical guy that will run you over.

The defense is obviously playing a lot better than it was then but I don't know if we're anymore physical than we were. We'll see though.

We did well against Collins. He is the similar kind of back.

You might have a drinking problem if you're still drunk on a Tuesaday.

We have a physically injured QB and a mentally (lack of confidence) QB. Alabama's defense will destroy either one.

We won't score unless we do some kind of tricky shite with KJ.

Our defense has improved every game. They are playing with tremendous heart.
Our special teams (other than an occasional punt) are solid as well.
Our OL has improved in their blocking and the RB position has more depth than all season.

However, our head coach and OC are coaching like morons. Putting a hurt Sean White in the game? Subbing JJ on a short 3rd down when everyone in the stadium knows he is gonna run it?

We would get skull fricked by EVERY TEAM in the west in two weeks. This season is over dude. Quit getting your hopes up.

Bottom line, we have no qb option atm. I would think they might be considering giving Jason Smith reps at this point.

Will the Idaho game be on the SEC Network or the alternate?

Maybe Gus will put Jason Smith in and run the hell out of the read option.

Unless Gus let's the QBs run and we go uptempo it will be ugly. The 3 things that beat Bama, we lack. Mobile QB, uptempo, and pass rush.

Fify

Having actually watched auburn football this year, I have zero faith in our ability to score against Bama, at least when it counts.

But I'm excited and will cheer against the above wisdom nonetheless
