I'll jump in with my grades now that I am home.

at quarterback, Sean White alone gives us an A. Sure he is only 6'4 but he has great accuracy and heart.

running back is another A. We got the guy was top on our board from the start and another good running back that could grow to play fullback or stay a big tailback.

Receiver. I will give this a B+ because we did get the guy who might be the best prospect but the down side to that is that he is likely a one and done. Truit could become a beast in our offense and Burton is a big framed kid that could do good things for us.

TE. No idea. I haven't seen anything on Laye nor Mitchell and that is more testament to my laziness on that one. Neither is a top flight tight end that every school drools over but we took them quick so the coaching staff obviously liked both.

OL. We got the guy I wanted since he appeared on our radar and we got the biggest position of need on the line and he has 3 to play. I will give us a B simply due to only taking 2 but an A+ for filling the spots of need with the space that we had.

DE are a solid A. Two 4 star ends with a high ceiling project guy. Adds quality depth at a position we need it.

DT are a B+. Hard to not say this but I am not crazy about all of them being JUCO guys minus a very good high schooler.

LB. We just signed a 5 star linebacker at the biggest position of need on the team and backed him up with a solid kid too. This has to be an A and the only lacking was missing on Evans.

Corners bring in a B+. Two very good corners that are around 6'0. Of course it could be better but not by much.

Safeties are a B with 2 4 stars and a 3 star project.

All in all, this class is an A+ for filling our needs with quality players. Of course it could always be better but this is a great class, make no mistake.

Watching film, Boston looks like he could potentially play star. He has that lanky, ballhawking, hit-people, style of play that Therezie has in my opinion.

he's got a much bigger frame than Therezie. When i watched his highlights, he was more impressive than i was anticipating... he lacks the top end speed, but has good ball skills and looks good with returning punts/INTs. He can also carry a good bit more weight.

i think he has the potential to play star down the road... we'll see. depends on who we bring in next class and how guys like mackenro alexander develop.

Using Rivals

Number of 5 Star Players (The Most Auburn has ever gotten)
1) Bama 6
2) Auburn, FSU, TAMU 3

Number of 4 and 5 star total
1) Alabama 19
2) UT 18
3) LSU OSU FSU 16
6) Auburn 14
7) TAMU, UF and UGA 13

Average Rating
1) Bama 3.92
2) LSU, OSU 3.74
4) TAMU 3.71
5) USC 3.68
6) Auburn and UT (3.65)...

This is a great class and met the needs of the team... We should be celebrating...

This includes 2 Two Star players that I am excited about or our ranking would have been higher.. Boston and Devaroe Lawrence

We didnt go hard for OL this year, so I think this area is a solid B because we got Braden Smith. That kid is gonna be like Lee Ziemba. Major contributor for 4 years.

UT did great in recruiting but they also signed a class about 150% bigger than everybody else. Still not 100 percent sure how they did that. Gotta hand it to Butch. They pulled in some players. Maybe one day he will be able to afford a decent hair cut.
