I hate being ranked high in the preseason. We may as well just ask ESPN to rank us lower if we want to win anything this year.

Looking at this article makes it pretty clear where our advantage lies..
Auburn could win the SEC based on relative QB strength alone. If the season started today Georgia is the only team on our level IMO

Louisville lost a ton on offense but should return a pretty good defense. And, as any other Bobby Petrino coached team, they shouldn't be overlooked.

Would feel better about it if most of our ranking wasn't based on the expectation of JJ to be great. He's shown a lot of potential, but he is still an unproven commodity. They're basing a lot of it on the assumption that he is basically going to be a Heisman contender. Lots of unknowns.

Who gives a shite what they are basing it off of? I wish they would make us number one because they think we have 4 Heisman contenders. I rather start higher in the rankings than lower, period. The reasons why don't matter to me. It will now be up to the team to perform and live up to the ranking.
