I wish we would quit testing for it. It would be a huge recruiting advantage imo.

I vote for Homecoming. Players will really regret not getting to play in that one.

SO. CLOSE. TO. PANIC. RIGHT. NOW. The defense was already bad at its best and now all of this. Self implosion in 3,2,1...

Step away from the ledge. Missing Lawson is going to hurt but other than Therezie all others are expected to be good to go for the 1st game. We aren't the only team battling injuries in fall camp.

1. Wise Suffers Knee Sprain: Defensive end Deatrich Wise did not participate in Wednesday night’s practice in Razorback Stadium because of a sprained knee he suffered earlier this week.

quote:

Defensive end Brandon Lewis also missed Wednesday night’s practice because of a sore knee, leaving the Razorbacks with depth concerns at defensive end outside of senior Trey Flowers.

quote:

Wise and Lewis weren’t the only players missing Wednesday night. Running back Jonathan Williams (hamstring), tight end AJ Derby (knee), safety Alan Turner (eye), safety Davyon McKinney (undisclosed), linebacker Randy Ramsey (oblique) and defensive back Santos Ramirez (calf) also missed the workout. In addition, right tackle Brian Wallace (ankle) and defensive tackle Grady Ollison (ankle) were injured late in the practice.

All of those guys will be 100% for the Auburn game and play the best game of their career. Book it!

As long as we are prolific on offense I don't see a reason to be concerned. I don't know if some of these teams can out score us anyway.

I would just like to have a least a top 25 defense to go along with the high octane offense. It would be a lot better on my nerves during the game.

I'd settle for a top 40 defense. Think we were 86th last year.

You should come back to TD.

We have a new drug policy starting this year.

Is the slate wiped clean from any previous offense?

Or are previous offenses added in with this new policy?

The point system is 1 point for a marijuana or synthetic failed test and 3 points for another substance. A conviction/guilty plea counts as a failed test. 1 point gets you counseling and increased testing 3 points is 1/4 of a season, 4 points is half a season, 5 points is a full season, 6 points is a dismissal from Auburn athletics and revocation of the scholarship at the end of that semester.

So with this system, you can have two positive marijuana tests without having a suspension?

Looks like it. Honestly I don't like the new policy...seems like it will make these players feel like its okay to smoke "once or twice"

I agree.

But one bonus is if we tell UGA fans about it it will probably piss them off.

Maybe Therezie is only out 1/4 then. That wouldn't hurt too badly.
