I don't buy the argument claiming this firing hurts our program because of no continuity and insufficient time to build the defense. It's simple as the fact EJ just wasn't cut out for it, and unable to coach at the level we expect our team to perform at.
Go Gus! Honestly, I wasn't really expecting this to happen. I truly believe with right hire, this defense can be lights out next year.
