Who you guys think Tubs would hire if he were our AD? I've always thought his choice in assistant coaches was solid, so I'd be interested in who his pick for HC would be.

To bring this thread full circle. The ptb put the pressure on Tubs to scrap his coaching philosophy and switch to a spread type offense. That disaster led to Chizik and now Gus. Granted we've won a nc and played for another since then, but the program has also experienced some historically wild swings from really good to really bad. Head to head vs our biggest rivals are beyond lopsided, defense appears to be turning around, but it's been beyond abysmal at points. There is no consistency from year to year, and you honestly don't know if the season is gonna be great or be one you wish you could forget. Recruiting is way up from the Tubs era, but player development feels like it's been on a downward slide. I'd much rather have a coach who coaches them up vs a guy who has a serious track record of underdevelopment.
