Furyk should just lay back and play for second at this point. It is a miracle to hit the green from here because if he lands on it bounces over.

called that. that would have had to be a beastly shot to make it to the green. I'm surprised that his caddie let him try that shot instead of laying it back in the fairway the way he has been hitting his wedges. There just wasn't a need to hit the green when the only guy close to you is dead in the wilderness before you hit.
