Why is it that we always seem to get outplayed in this game? Richt has his guys fired up year in and year out and we seem to always be flat. Even when we are damn good teams, we still can't rest easy in this game. You would have to go back to 2004 to see the last time we actually handled the game well.

Would moving the game forward into the middle of the season help with this? Let's be realistic, we are UGA's biggest rivalry now but they are second to us. When UF gets their shite together again, they might be their biggest rival but that could be a few years off. Having Bama just a week or two after the UGA might be a reason we come out flat, not that we overlook UGA but that the emotional highs of a rivalry can't come to a head twice that quick.

I believe it is because it is the final meaningful game UGA plays each year where we still have the Iron Bowl looming.

Moving the game will not help.

We need to recruit better, develop our players better, and execute better.

Blocking and tackling win games. We got outplayed last night.

Yep... it has really seemed to set up well for UGA the past few years.... part of it is the Mickey Mouse sec east.... they get to hammer UK the week before (granted we should've hammered A&M) and it's their last sec game of the year.

It is what it is and no excuse for our record the last 10 years against them.
