Well I'd prefer coaches that can recruit as well as coach. Doesn't have to be one or the other.

I demand we overpay for some losers no other team wants. And at least one position coach without any on field experience. And one highschool coach, for consistency.

I'd like both, but all the recruiters we've hired can't seem to develop anyone so I'm leaning toward the coaching resume Not saying Blackwell fits that

My body is not ready for 3* linebackers even though I know they can be just as good. Maybe 2017 class.

Coaches like T Rob that are excellent at both are invaluable and we should never let them leave unless given a ransom.

I would have no problem giving Gideon and williams the permanent positions they had for the the bowl game. I want younger guys with something to prove... a career journeyman like Blackwell does nothing for me honestly.

What's the point of having all these off-field positions if we're never going to promote them?... just watch them leave to become SEC assistants elsewhere -- like McGee at UGA and Bentley at USCe?

You will be happy to know that Steele's very first offer went out to a 3* white LB

Maybe I've simply got a healthy detatchment after yet another blah season... but all that glitters ain't gold and all that smells like shite probably is shite but maybe it's a rotting carcass instead.

We've thought we nailed coordinator, assistant hires in the past and they got us nowhere. Ellis & van Gorder.

How about yall just put your big boy breeches on, stop freaking out, and keep trolling everyone else?

Tubs was here, we complained about the lack of O. Gus is here, we complain about the lack of D. I am fine with the down time with Gus. He has coached us to two NC games while here. That's more than RJ, PD, Bowden, and Tubs combined.

Williams was a GA then paid off-field spot, left to be an assistant high school coach on Georgia for one season, then came back in a paid position in 2014.

His resume isn't great, but what was Joe Whitts resume before auburn LB coach?... I like TW over someone like Blackwell... way more upside.

I'm at this point too.

This year it was more about the lack of O. Our D did enough for a competent offense to win. Our O continually screwed our D over.
