He was flat out pissed. Basically saying we have been lied to because nothing ever changes and that the lack of short to intermediate passing routes is just mind boggling.

I know it’s all the things that have been mentioned here, but his demeanor is what really intrigued me. I think he has been chatting it up with his boy Heath Evans and they have the pitch forks out.

Cole Cubelic is one of my favorite Auburn media personalities. He is REALLY good with the analysis.

If Cole is taking cues from Heath, I now know why he sounds so stupid most of the time.

Cole is one of the few people on TV that actually know what they’re talking about. Dude calls it like he sees it and is usually spot on.

None of them.

Zip.

Zilch.

Nada.

Sports media these days is a pool of cess (equally as bad as their non-sports counterparts).

Cubelic is excellent. As far as male sideline reporters go, he and McShay are in a class of their own.

Really makes you made when you realize that our offense hasn't changed at all and we're paying Chip 700k a year.

You guys that are so obsessed with what we pay people is always funny to me. $700k is chump change to this athletic department. And just an FYI, that would've ranked as the 34th highest salary of assistant coaches in all of college football last year

LINK

And before you type your reply of, "Well we aren't using him so why waste $700k and just not have an offensive coordinator?". That argument is dense and absurd.

$700K is dirt-cheap for an OC at a major Div. I school, actually.

Well that is not true. Chip installed a zone blocking scheme instead of man blocking. He took away one of our best weapons and fricked up the only thing Gus was good at. It has changed, just for the worse.

I don't think it's absurb at all. If you paid a mechanic 3k for a new engine and he gave you a tune up instead would you be mad? Money aside we were told Gus was done as OC and we were hiring an OC. What we got is the exact same offense with a few more passes per games.

It all makes since now why we didn't get any OC we wanted. Gus was looking for someone to run his offense. I'm surprised anyone signed up.
