I just do not understand how a Gus Malzahn O can be so pitiful. Sure, in the past some schools have had better success at slowing it up than others, but just shutting it down.........like has happened game after game after game? I have lost a ton of faith in him this season. I haven't jumped off his bandwagon yet............but I am looking for a soft place to land when I do.

My takeaway:
The best part of the game was Pearl on Aubitron pre-game telling all the old season ticket holders to donate their tickets before Tuesday if they can't show up for the Colorado game.
He said "they beat AU by 5 touchdowns last year".

Frazier was a freshman in 2011 and played in a few games, but I'm not even sure he threw a pass. He also had a chance to compete for the starting job in 2013 and was moved pretty quickly to DB.

At some point, you guys will realize what we need as long as we have Gus as a HC. When Alabama completely blanks this "balanced passing offense" down in two weeks, it will be more clear.

JJ may throw it up into double, even triple coverage when going deep, but iirc, we have the tendency to catch those balls just as often as they are intercepted

When you throw the ball deep the odds tell you it's still 3 times or so as likely to be caught as it is intercepted so I agree. Why not try it?

We go downfield every time it's third and 5........every damn time.
