I'm sure he's made some nice blocks but the 3 clips posted in this link are just awful.

Hopefully this is corrected in practice

It was posted in another thread about his struggle with technique on open field blocks. I'm sure the coaches see it on film but it's becoming a glaring issue.. Just one of many with this offense right now

That's why I was so against moving Kam Pettway from h-back to running back. I mean, the staff pretty much had to given the Roc Thomas and Jovon Robinson departures, but he was a pretty dang good h-back from everything I saw.

What about that Miller kid? I know he got a few touches against ASU, but I am assuming he hasn't caught on?

I would find it hard to believe Malik could play out of position as a true freshman better than Cox. Unfortunately, the Jovon/Roc/Landon Rice departures have left the pickin's slim to none. Cox is just gonna have to get better

Gotcha. That may very well end up being the right play but damn I like Bubba toting the rock.

Cox has been terrible this year. He has show zero improvement from week 1 to week 4 and has been a serious liability in the run game.

I'd rather see Cam Martin get more touches. That dude looked really good against ASU. He's also the fast homerun threat we don't have in KJ or Pettway.

The only thing giving me hope is that Jay Prosch struggled in the early part of 2013 too before he had it click

I was just coming in here to say this. He looked lost for 1/3 of the season, missing blocks ect.....then it clicked and he was a beast, let's hope it's the same for Cox.

Yep, I remember thinking, "Why were we so excited about Prosch? He's not good." Then, he killed it.

Looks like to me he's thinking too much. He's more worried about blocking the right person than anything else. At least that would explain why he whiffed on all 3 of those.
