It's cold and raining... They'll be a lot different in the dome with a month of rest.

What do we think will happen with the playoff committee if Penn State wins the B1G championship today? do they go to the playoffs and Ohio State goes home?

That is what worries me. Not for this year, but for us. I could easily see the precedent of putting a non-conference champ in and leaving the champ out biting AU in the future if there was a similar scenario involving Alabama.

Not saying it would happen, but you would probably see the same arguments, and seeing how the committee goes this time might indicate how they would react.

yea, I am not ready to say that. Tough conditions and playing good competition. OSU should only have one loss

If this was a sloppy game i would agree but the mistakes in this game have nothing to do with the cold and rain

Dude, how many games have you watched this year that teams played "clean". Not making mistakes or being stupid?

OU would be a very good match up for us as would OSU. We would be lucky to beat either of them

I hope we look much more like the team that played against Arkansas.

We started the season with no identity on offense and ended the same. I hope everyone is healthy and good to go so we look more like the team that stomped the Hawgs.

If someone watched most of our games this year against good teams that didn't know anything about us, they would be wondering how in the frick could we be the 2nd best team in the SEC. We played like shite most of the year.

Looking at a team on any given day and saying they suck is fricking stupid. I still remember how shitty everyone said UGA was. Guess what

?

I don't think I said OK sucks, I just like the idea that our run game would be an interesting matchup against them.

And yeah, AU was extremely inconsistent this year, playing really poorly, esp on offense many times this year.

But, and this is a big question, if White is able to play and make the passing game at least a threat, and our running game is healthy, I think it could be a great game.

Our defense, however, has been pretty good in my view all year. And one thing I will say watching this game is that I do not see a lot of good defense.

Our biggest thing against OU would be not letting Mayfield burn us deep. I dont think they could run it on us constantly. If we could generate pass rush to keep him form being able to go deep on us a lot, we should be OK.

With a healthy offense, we should be able to run the ball on them and keep Mayfield on the sidelines

Pass rush and coverage

big question when was the last time we had good O and D both in the same season? 2010 and 2013 would both have to be close right? because as the bad as the D was it did help bail us out of some tight games. history says next year we go back to being decent on O and sucky on D. as that's been the theme since 09

Yea, I was thinking 04 but 06 is the right answer. 2010 we had a great run defense but our pass defense was so very bad.
