I disagree with you on this.

whether we have one or not, we arent using one. Mason got the majority of carries iirc which is more consistent than spreading them around like we seem to do now.

I dunno, it just seemed Mason got the ball very often last year

CAP has twice as many carries as the next one (NM). The next RB has 46. The inconsistency is our OL play.

We also ran more plays per game last year I believe.

I wonder how this compares to last year; its probably all in my head. OL has sucked this year and DL hasn't been dominate.

What's killing us the most is a lack of pass rush. It what our Defense lived off of last year. Until we get that we are going to continue to suck on Defense.

thats because our coverage is so terrible, we have to disrupt the actual play or its a completion unless the QB just flat misses

What I don't get is why RT, who was one of our top playmakers, has seemed to have turn average this year.

To many snaps. We've had problems getting off the field all year. We needed to be able to blow some teams out especially at home so they've had to play deep into to many straight games.

I'm in the acceptance stage (of those grief stages), I do believe there will be a turnaround for the better in future seasons. Looking forward to seeing what a 100% recruited by Gus team does, as we move onwards. Maybe EJ will eventually be fired, or maybe he just needs time w/ better players, just can't be sure at this point.

I thought that also, until I saw the Ole Miss game. We got a great pass rush in that game. Bro looked like a Heisman contender. There are holes to pick apart on every play.

Our D sucked last year also.

While our defense was shittastic last night, I think it did enough to win the game. Our offense didn't produce. The loss is on the O, we should have hung 40+ on GA.

Offense inconsistent in clutch situations.
No pass rush
Secondary sucks
Dline inconsistent
Special teams sucks
Predictable play calling on O and D

The thing is, we shouldn't need to score mid-30's/low 40's every week. I would bet......if you look at the last four games, we force less than 4 punts a game. That is just sad. Last night was a shite show in every aspect of the game. That does not excuse our pathetic D.
