don't get me wrong, the florida game bothers the hell out of me, but i'm not talking specifically about the UF game. I thought that this was a season in general talk. Game gets close adn we have to inbound the ball...lookout. Remember mizzu, at home?

I don't see how we have these problems. And i put that on barbee. But I also just don't think he is a good coach and look for reasons to pile on.
I am not sure how much is on Barbee but I do know our kids don't listen to him in game situations sometimes. For example, we lost to Rutgers at home in overtime a year or 2 ago. We were up 3 with 5 seconds left and in the time out Barbee told the players to foul Rutgers without getting a shot off so they have to shoot 2 free throws while down 3 points. He even screamed foul when play started. The players did not attempt to foul, Rutgers hit a 3 to tie it and won in OT.

don't know why barbee gets a pass, or is compared to lebo. Lebo didn't do well...and he was fired. I'm all for firing barbee too.

Per JGT, Auburn is prohibited from recruiting kids who have any relationship with Mark Komara. Heruns the Southeast Elite AAU program. Most players from this state have a relationship with Komara, which means AU has to go elsewhere to sign players for the most part. The NCAA in 2003 deemed him a representative of Auburn's interests and imposed a short-term ban on Auburn's ability to work with him. That lasted two or three years. Auburn stil voluntarily imposed an indefinite ban on anything dealing with Komara. As most of you know AAU ball is the lifeblood for college basketball recruiting for the most part.

Who is this guy and why is he repoint AUs interest?

Of those Barbee only had a hand in Greene Jr, Price and McAfee leaving. Delph is a partial qualifier and is redshirting this year.

The guys who actually do stay in the program have all improved and Barbee is above average with his x's and o's. It is my opinion that he should get another year as long as we don't collapse down the stretch.

The who is in the post you quoted. Not sure as to why the NCAA had him as working in AU's interest.

Look at the under armor schools. For the most part they suck in basketball or and under how they should be doing.

Komara graduated from Auburn. The dirty side of AAU was just beginning and the NCAA wanted to make an example out of someone. They weren't going to do it to a blue blood program and we were pretty decent at the time so we got hit. It didn't work the way they planned and we have never recovered.

Honestly, Auburn need to fall back on the Komara ban. We've given ourselves the death penalty in basketball, might as well earn it....

And I would drop the Under Armour basketball contract in a heartbeat. It is very possible to have dual apparel deals, look at Baylor. Nike in football, Adidas in basketball. ..Both programs doing well

As stated in the OP you are referencing the school would lose to much money breaking off from UA for basketball apparel. There is probably a penalty clause in the contract for doing it.
