I would just like to know how he feels about this team coming up. I would assume he believes it could be way better than last years.

I'm sure he will go into that as part of his pep speech. Anyone know what he drinks? I am thinking about giving him a bottle of Gentleman jack with the Auburn logo on it. I got an extra so I thought about throwing it in the gift basket for him.

I would be interested if NCAA had finally signed off on

He said "Purifoy is on scholarship, practicing and in class". When asked if that meant he was cleared, he repeated the first answer
As for Galloway, apparently that is pretty touchy and was told not to mention it.
Pearl was really good and you could tell that he enjoys doing this stuff or is a damn good actor at it. When Malzahn was here, he was very structured, no pictures to slow down the line, sat at the table and powered through.
Pearl stood out front of the table, invited pictures, was great with all the kids and sold himself to the crowd.

I can imagine all coaches and everyone within the AD were told not to invite conversation regarding SG.
At this point, I think we all know the NCAA violation was simply a means to fire him—not at all the central reason for his firing.

that was from one of the assistants, not Pearl. But I think it really did hit him out of no where. i asked the guy if they had any beef and he said they didn't, they always got along so it was weird.

Thanks for the info. I've seen Pearl speak a couple times and really enjoyed it. It doesn't seem forced and he enjoys talking to people afterward.
