Freshman will likely play more snaps over the season but combine for less "starts". If you have a senior whose worked hard/team leader already losing snaps to a FR, it isn't much to just call him "starter" to end his career
Deon Cain last year only had 1 start, Sammy Watkins didn't start the first 3 weeks of his 1500 yd FR season. Jadeveon Client started only one time during his FR record season
