Yeah, I am keeping an eye on the SECN for them to show it. I am hoping they show it, in full, at the top of the hour.

Not sure if anyone cares, but here's a link to Boom's press conference with good sound. Picture sucks though.

You could tell the media wanted to know all the details surrounding the long wait & all the rumors. He squashed it all with AU was the only school to offer me a job. I doubted him at first & I wish he was going to coach the bowl game but August 2015 CANNOT come close enough. I cannot wait to see him on the sideline. I predict a sell out at the spring game.

His presser was very muschamp like...
..we were the only ones to offer...
..he wants to be a head coach again but is glad to be the d coord for now at AU...
..looks forward to coaching the players he recruited that turned him down at FL...

outch.

THen again, I was convinced he wasn't even coming back. So he has to be a stellar D-coord again to get another HC job. I'm looking forward to the next few years while he's here

I hope he backs off wanting to be a HC for at least next season & the following. I just don't see a FBS automatic qualifier wanting to throw money at a risky product. He's a great defensive mind with a lot of youth that recruits can relate to but au just don't know about him as a head coach. The thought still remains that we asked South Carplina fans when they were convinced he was their DC/HCIW. If you cannot succeed at UF with all that talent in state, how do you think you'll fare when you coach at a school that doesn't have superior talent in your back yard as well as plenty of financial resources?

Playing devils advocate when it comes to DC turned HCs, they need great OCs whereas the opposite is true for offensive geniuses.

Look even at Saban, he panicked and got Kiffin. Tubbs eventually crashed due to lousy offenses. But Gus did very well without a defense last year, this year not so much but it'd been 2012 2.0 if not for the offense- even with the offense well below their 2013 level.

Muschamp was like Chizik and Tubbs desperate to find an OC. He never found one and crashed.

Yes defenses win championships but they don't get you to the championship games.
